At approximately 1400 hours on January 18th, Station 7 was dispatched for a House Fire on Sandy Bottom Road in the first due. Engine 72, Truck 7, Rescue Squad 7, Utility 7, Brush 7, Chief 7, Chief 7A, and Chief 7B responded on the call with 20 Volunteers. The membership at the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department would like to remind our community to remain safe throughout the winter months. The Office of the State Fire Marshall put out a news release on January 11, 2019 stating that there have been 6 fire fatalities across the state of Maryland. Hollywood Volunteers, December 24

Engine 7 and Rescue Squad 7 were dispatched at approximately 2330 hours as the 4th Due Engine and Rescue Squad on the Box. Engine 72, Rescue Squad 7 and Chief 7B responded with 10 Volunteers on the incident. First arriving units found fire showing from a 1 story strip mall and requested a 2nd Alarm.
