At 1738 hours Company 7, Squad 7, Squad 1, EMS Stations 79, 19, and the SMALS unit were dispatched to the area of Three Notch Road and Hollywood Road for the Motor Vehicle Accident with one trapped. Squad 7 was the first to arrive confirming a 2 vehicle accident in the intersection with one trapped in the vehicle. The Squad extricated the occupant within 10 minutes of arrival, while Engine 73 arrived and handled patient care of the 2nd occupant until an ambulance arrived on the scene. Units operated for approx. 30 minutes before returning to service. Chief 7B held the Three Notch Road Command with Squad 7 OIC as the Extrication Group Supervisor.
