Engine 72, Engine 74, Truck 7, Rescue Squad 7, Chief 7, and Chief 7A responded on the incident with 13 Volunteers.

Chief 7 was first to arrive, correcting the address as 26363 Mar A Lee Court, finding a 2 story split foyer home with fire showing from the second floor. Chief 7 established the "Hollywood Command" in his vehicle on side "A" of the structure. Engine 72 was next to arrive, dropping a supply line from the intersection of the Drive and Court, and deploying a 200' 1 3/4" attack line to the structure. The Engine crew advanced the attack line to the second floor finding fire in all 4 rooms of the structure. Truck 7 arrived on the scene and split the crew with the exterior team placing ladders and the interior team assisting on the second floor. Engine 24 picked up the supply line and the crew advanced a hand line to the rear and then checked the first floor for any fire. The crew from Engine 93 backed up Engine 72 on the second floor and both crews knocked all visible fire inside the structure. Engine 10, Rescue Squad 7, and Car 2 handled RIT responsibilities on Side "A' of the structure.

Command deemed the fire under control after 30 minutes of work and continued to hold all units for overhaul. The assignment was reduced shortly after holding the units from Hollywood to assist the Fire Marshal and to complete the mopping up of the fire ground.

The units from Hollywood returned to service and quarters at 0342 hours. The State Fire Marshal is investigating this fire and is handling this case.
