Hollywood VFD Responds to Structure Fire in California, MD.

Just after 0900 hours Saturday, 26 December 2020, Tanker 74 was dispatched to the 46000 block of Millstone Landing Road in California for the House Fire. Tanker 74, Chief 7(Brady) and Chief 7B (Rector) responded at dispatch with 5 Volunteers. Rescue Squad 7 was clearing a collision in the south end of the first due and requested to run the Box. Rescue Squad 7 responded on the incident with an additional 6 Volunteers. First arriving units found a two story single family home with nothing evident. Rescue Squad 7 arrived and operated as the first special service. Crews operating on the interior found fire in the walls and started to open up. Tanker 74 arrived and positioned to operate as a Tanker while the crew operated on the interior. Crews from 13 (NDW / NAS PAX RIVER), 3 (Bay District VFD) and 7 (Hollywood VFD) operated on the 1st, 2nd, and the basement Divisions, extinguishing all visible fire. The fire was placed under control at 0940 hours and units from Station 7 picked up and returned to service. Chief 3B (Bussler) held the Millstone Landing Command. All units from Station 7 returned to quarters a little before 1100 hours.
