Hollywood VFD Responds To MVA In Laurel Grove

At approximately 1510 hours Monday, 31 January 2022, Squad 7 was alerted to Three Notch Road and Laurel Grove Road in Station 2 first due for a Motor Vehicle Accident with a person trapped. Squad 7 responded with 4 Volunteers at dispatch. First arriving unit from Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department, INC. found a two vehicle collision with one trapped. Squad 7 arrived on the scene and assisted members of Engine 21 with removing the trapped occupant. All patients were turned over to EMS for transport. Squad 7 picked up and returned to service a short time later. Chief 2B (R. Raley) held the Laurel Grove Command.

Once in quarters, Engine 7 and Truck 7 were alerted for a Box Alarm in Station 1 first due. Both units responded with a total of 10 Volunteers. This incident was determined to be a malfunctioning electrical appliance and the Units from Station 7 returned to quarters.
