At approximately 2050 hours, 11 March,
2022, Squad 7 was dispatched to the intersection of Point Lookout Road and Loveville Road in Company 1's first due for a Motor Vehicle Accident with one trapped. Rescue Squad 7 responded shortly after dispatch with 5 Volunteers. Chief 1 (C. Bell) arrived on the scene reporting a single vehicle overturned with one pinned. Rescue Squad 7 arrived on location and went to work stabilizing the vehicle utilizing cribbing and the Res-Q-Jacks. Once access was gained to the occupant by removing the doors, the crews worked to lift the vehicle to free the pinned occupant. Crews from Rescue Squad 7 and Rescue Squad 1 worked for 25 minutes before they were able to remove the occupant from the vehicle. The patient was turned over to EMS and transported by MSP Aviation to a Trauma Center. Chief 1 (C. Bell) held the Command and Rescue Squad 7 returned to quarters just after 2200 hours.
