At approximately 1000 hours Sunday, 7 January 2024, Station 7 was dispatched to the 26700 block of North Sandgates Road for a Motor Vehicle Accident with one overturned. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 72, and Chief 7B (R. Brady) responded with 10 Volunteers at dispatch. Rescue Squad 7 arrived to find a single vehicle off the road and overturned. Chief 7B (R. Brady) arrived on the scene and established the Sandgates Command. Rescue Squad 7's crew gained access to the vehicle and determined the single occupant was deceased. Command held the Units from Hollywood and a single EMS unit to stand by. Crews assisted MSP on the scene and returned to service after 30 minutes.
