Pumper Tanker Runs Charles County Two Alarm Fire |

At 0525 hours Station 7 was dispatched Mutual Aid to Charles County to transfer Engine 74 to LaPlata Station 1. While responding to the fill in Communications advised to start to the scene at 10855 Charles Street for the Building Fire. Engine 74 arrived on the scene and assisted with water supply while the crew was assigned the RIT duties. Once the bulk of the fire was knocked down from ladder pipes crews were assigned hand lines for mop up. Members from Hollywood worked on the scene for several hours assisting with overhaul before returning to service. Engine 74 returned to quarters at 1017 hours. Numerous Companies from Charles, St. Mary's, Prince Georges, NDW, Andrews Air Force Base FD, and NIH Bethesda worked on the scene of this incident. **Photos courtesy of Brian Brown** |
