Once again Hollywood Volunteers have shown what it means to have Pride and Dedication. The Volunteers left this morning for Solomons for the Annual Convention Parade. The Company had a Marching Units along with a Fire Prevention Trailer and all the Apparatus. The members worked hard over several weeks cleaning and polishing the equipment during the day and night, and it paid off. The company took home the following awards: Fire Prevention Award Class IV (Fire Prevention Book)
and the Top Trophy of the Day BEST APPEARING COMPANY OVERALL Special thanks to all the Volunteers who took time over the past several weeks and today for showing everyone what Hollywood is about. Thanks to Parade Chairperson/Vice President Tommy Thompson and his crew for all the hard work that went into the units and it shows what dedication is about. Also congratulations to Danielle Sullivan on the Jr. Miss Fire Prevention. She is the Daughter of our own Mike and Kim Sullivan. |
