Today Member traveled to Solomon's to participate in the Annual Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen's Association Parade. The Company was proud to show off our equipment and Fire Prevention Units to everyone today and brought home several awards for our units.

2nd Best Ladder Truck

Congratulations to everyone who took the time to help out preparing for the parade and for those who participated in the parade and games.

Also Congratulation to Mechanicsville VFD for winning Best Appearing Overall, Leonardtown VFD for winning 2nd Best in the Association, and to Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad for Best EMS Company Overall.

Thank you to the members who stayed back and staffed the station during the parade and events. The Company took in a MVA Bicyclist, a Landing Zone, and a Fuel leak in the water.
