HVFD and HVFDLA Celebrate 63rd Annual Installation of Officers / Awards Banquet

On Saturday 11 January 2020, the department held their 63rd Annual Installation of Officers / Awards Banquet. Congratulations to all of the 2020 Executive Officers, Line Officers, Ladies Auxiliary Officers and Awardees that were recognized. There were numerous surrounding Mutual Aid Department Representatives and Elected Officials in attendance and the HONORABLE Marvin Kaminetz was the Master of Ceremonies. The evening was filled with great fellowship, food, beverages and most of all RECOGNITION to all members of HVFD and HVFDLA for all they do each day to support our Surrounding Community. A SPECIAL THANK YOU to the crews from Leonardtown VFD, Mechanicsville VFD and LaPlata VFD for filling-in and responding to our dispatched incidents while our Members attended this Annual Event.

HVFD Presidents Award was presented to the Officers and Members who served on the 2019 HVFD Parade Committee. HVFD was very successful in numerous parades throughout 2019 and these members on the Parade Committee ensured that all equipment was very presentable for the public view at these parades. A Special Congratulations to HVFD Engineer Grant Mattingly, Lieutenant Tyler Insley, FF Jason Sullivan, FF Drew Wallace, FF Tyler Brady, and FF Ashley Windsor who were presented LIFE SAVING AWARDS for their life-saving efforts to revive an infant whom was in Cardiac Arrest on September 16, 2019.
