On Friday, 4 December 2020, at approximately 1545 hours Station 7 was dispatched to the 24400 block of Hollywood Road for a Motor Vehicle Accident with people trapped. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 72, Engine 73, Chief 7 (Brady) and Chief 7B (Rector) responded with 16 Volunteers. Units arrived to find a three vehicle rear end style collision with two people trapped. The Rescue Squad went to work stabilizing the vehicles and started the extrication utilizing the HURST Jaws of Life. Engine 73 arrived and stretched a hand line for protection. The crews extricated two patients and requested a fly out to a Trauma Center. Engine 72 handled the Landing Zone at Dorsey Park. One patient was transported by MSP Trooper 7 to PG Trauma and two other patients were transported to St. Mary's Hospital for evaluation. Command was terminated and units returned to service at 1620 hours. Chief 7 (Brady) held the Hollywood Command.
