Engine 73, Truck 7, and Chief 7B (Rector) responded shortly after dispatch with 14 Volunteers. Shortly after the Engine and Truck responded, Tanker 74 was added to the run with an additional 4 Volunteers. First arriving units found a two-story single family home with fire showing from the rear, 1st, and 2nd floors. Engine 73 arrived and picked up Engine 91 line. The crew of Engine 73 advanced a line up from the basement and started an aggressive fire attack on the 1st floor. Truck 7 arrived and took position on side B of the structure. The crew laddered the building then proceeded to the 2nd floor to assist with fire attack. Tanker 74 arrived and the crew was requested to the 2nd floor to assist with fire attack. Chief 7B (Rector) was assigned the Division 2 Attack Group supervisor with Tanker 74 and Truck 7. Crews operated for 40 minutes before bringing the fire under control. Units remained on the scene assisting with overhaul before picking up and returning to service. The units from Station 7 returned to service just after 0400. All occupants were accounted for and evaluated by EMS. Chief 9B (Harrison) held the Wildewood Command.
