At approximately 1645 Thursday, 18 February 2021, Station 7 was dispatched to the 43300 block of Johnson Road for a possible house fire. Engine 72, Truck 7, Tanker 74, Rescue Squad 7, Chief 7 (Brady) and Chief 7A (Rogers) responded with 17 Volunteers. The units from Station 7 arrived on the scene to find a one story single family home with nothing evident. Crews found light smoke throughout the house and attempted to locate the source. Chief 7 (Brady) established the Command with Chief 7A (Rogers) handling the investigations group with the units from Station 7. Crews determined a malfunctioning wood stove with no extension to the structure. Command held the units from Station 7 for ventilation and returned the rest. The units from Station 7 picked up and returned to service in approximately 30 minutes. |
