At approximately 1130 hours 15 March 2021, Truck 7 was dispatched to the 26200 block of Forest Hall Drive in Helen for the garage fire. Truck 7, Brush 7(cleared from a brush fire), and Chief 7B (Rector) responded shortly after dispatch with 7 Volunteers. First arriving units from Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department, INC. found a detached garage with fire showing from the exterior. Truck 7 arrived on the scene and assisted the units with opening up. The fire was quickly placed under control and the assignment was scaled back to units from Station 2 and 7. Truck 7 remained on the scene before returning to service and quarters at 1245 hours. Chief 2 (Trowbridge) held the Mechanicsville Command.
