At approximately 1230 hours Sunday , 29 May 2023, Engine 7 and Truck 7 were dispatched to the 23100 block of Crestwood Ln. in Wildewood for the House Fire. Engine 72 and Truck 7 responded with 8 Volunteers shortly after dispatch. First arriving units from Bay District Volunteer Fire Department found a two story, single family home, with smoke showing. Truck 7 arrived on the scene and took position on side A of the structure. The crew of Truck 7 assisted with laddering the structure and opening up for the Engine Company. Engine 72 arrived on the scene and completed Engine 91 split lay. The crew of Engine 72 assisted with checking for extension. The fire was placed under control within 15 minutes and the assignment was scaled back to Engine 31, Engine 91, and Truck 7. Truck 7 remained on the scene and performed overhaul for a short time before being released. Chief 9B (Adams) held the Command and Units from Station 7 returned to quarters at 1403 hours.
