At approximately 1345 hours Wednesday 24 April 2024, Station 7 was dispatched to the 25500 block of Vista Road for the Truck Fire. Engine 72 and Tanker 74 responded at dispatch with 10 Volunteers on the run. Units arrived on the scene to find a small box truck on fire. Crews made quick work of the fire and had it extinguished within 5 minutes. Due to the vehicle being in motion, the Sheriff’s Department handled the investigation. With the fire out and no injuries, Engine 72 and Tanker 74 picked up and returned to service.
