Engine, Truck, Engine Tanker, and Chiefs 7, 7A, and 7B run Hollywood Rd House Fire

Tuesday, May 26, at 09:22hrs units were dispatched to the area of Hollywood Rd and Doctors crossing way in leonardtown for the reported house fire. After dispatch the location was changed to the 23800 block of Hollywood Rd in the area of Bradfords market.
Chief 7A arrived on the scene to find a 2 story single family with smoke and fire showing from Side A and B on the 1st snd 2nd floor, and established the Hollywood Rd command.

Engine 71 arrived on the scene and stretched a 200’ 1.5” attack line and went to work on fire attack on the first floor.
Engine 10 arrived and reverse laid to a pond at holly farms and established a draft from a pond to supply the fire ground.
Truck 7 arrived on scene and went to work completing searches which all proved negative, as well as opening up for the engine company.
After the fire was held under control units were pulled out of the structure due to structural compromise and for the remainder of the incident units operated in the defensive mode to complete the remainder of tasks.
Units operated on scene for approx. 1.5hrs before returning to service.
