This morning at 0554 hours, the box alarm was sounded in Solomon’s for the reported house fire. Initial callers advised a residence in the area of Swaggers Point Road was on fire. Numerous 911 calls were received and deputies from Calvert County Sheriff's Office arrived first to confirm the address.

Engine 73, Tanker 74, and Chief 7A (Rector) responded at dispatch with 11 personnel.

In an effort to show our continued support, Rescue Squad 7 went to downtown Annapolis today to take part in the Maryland Fallen Firefighters Memorial event.

This years event is a bit more personal to our organization after having been directly linked with FF Brice Trossbach of the Naval District Washington Fire Department and the Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department.

The Membership, and apparatus committee is proud to announce that we have received the final drawings for our new Engine. This unit will be a 2024 pierce arrow XT, powered by a Cummins X12 525 horsepower motor.
